I am a PhD in Education from Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), Delhi. I hav masters in English from Kerala University, in Education from Jamia Millia, New Delhi and in Psychology from KSOU, Mysore. I hail from a village Avilora in Calicut district of Kerala state. I was selected to the Indian Administrative Service in 2003 and allotted to Karntaka cadre. Worked as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Lingasur and Sedam, Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat in Gulbarga. Later worked as the Director for the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, which is a major poverty alleviation programme aimed for ensuring food and livelihood security for the villagers in India. After completing a two year challenging tenure as the Deputy Comissioner and District Magistrate, Mandya district, I had a very short tenure as Director of Horticulture, Lal Bagh, Karnataka. Currently, am posted as the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Bidar district.
